Dandenong Ranges

The Dandenong Ranges are a short drive from the Centre and offer a variety of arts and craft boutiques, gourmet food outlets and stunning views. There is also a maze available (located at Sky High lookout ) as well as a choice of bushland walks. Ricketts Sanctuary is a renowned tourist attraction featuring aboriginal and native carvings by local artist William Rickett displayed the natural bushland.

Lilydale Lake

Lilydale Lake is an 80-hectare passive recreational area offering sailboarding, sailing, canoeing and fishing. There are walking and cycling trails, boardwalks, wetlands, beaches, picnic areas, an impressive children playground and historical features.

The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail

Lilydale lies at one end of the scenic Lilydale-Warburton Rail Trail which allows you to walk or ride your bicycle or horse for 38 km. This clearly marked course following the route of the old railway line which was built in 1901 to relay local fruit,vegetables & timber to the Melbourne line.

Golf Courses

We are surrounded by an impressive selection of Golf Courses. Eastwood and the Heritage are both private courses, whilst Chirnside Park has a public course. A brand new course has recently been established at Yering also. All courses are approximately 15-20 min away.

Horse Riding

There are a number of horse riding establishments in the area. The Yarra Valley Equestrian Centre offers a choice of trail or guided rides and can accommodate novices through to experienced riders.

Yarra Valley Winery Tours

Yarra Valley Winery Tours offer personalised tours for travellers, social, business and conference groups which include lunch, wine tastings at Yarra Valley wineries, a pick-up and return service and an on-board tour host.
